FAWM & Latency & Local News

FAWM = “February Album Writing Month.”

It is a songwriting challenge that five thousand plus people are undertaking this year. Each fawmer must write an average of one song every two days all throughout February. Then, 28 Days Later, you will have 14 songs. (Nice math skills, right?)

i always find it difficult to write honest songs about what is currently going on in life. So, here is a (cheesy?) simple songs chocked full of high school latency:

Funny thing about Love…

Also, you really must check out Em’s FAWM page. She is the platonic fawmer–which is a concept i never knew existed before two years ago. Anyhow, here is her page: Emkeev

The other day, i got the feeling that i should pick up this distressed looking man who was walking by 896 while i was driving my cozy little car home. Just another day in my comfy life. He is the poster-child of why you should not pick up hitch-hikers. But, we managed to have a good conversation, then i bought him some pizza a little ways North on the road and kindly notified him that i would not take him any further.

In other news, i saw two pileated wood peckers on one tree this past Sunday.

Also, coyotes are becoming more and more common in our area. Me and my Quakers have seen them over the years, but now they’re becoming more and more common.

One last thing: they are making a wooly mammoth! Collin tells me that scientists are in possession of live DNA for such a beast and they plan on splicing it into a fertilized African Elephant embryo and letting that unsuspecting mother carry her furry baby to term. Awesome.

Does Jimmy know about the woodpeckers? Or more importantly, did you see them with Jimmy? Does that mean what I think it means?!?!

and I kept thinking you were saying that love makes you blonde…which is kind of funny. But yes, love does make you blind and make you see and here comes Valentine’s Day and man, now at least you have a love song to sing for the fundraiser. And it’s pretty, too. The song, I mean. Though I have full confidence that the fundraiser will be, too.

    Okay, I’m done.

Hey, thanks for the shoutout! A bit confused as to why I am the platonic Fawmer. But yay!

    • Jess says:

haha I wasn’t quite sure what he meant by that, either–maybe ‘prolific?’ you are quite the prolific FAWMER!

yah, maybe i don’t always use the right words from the right continents in their proper contexts…i am not a master of English (and it is not a mater of me).
i was attempting a fancy phrasing of “Perfect Fawmer.”

I like the “funny thing about love” part of this song.
